Nikil Chande

Nikil Chande is a director in the Financial Stability Department at the Bank of Canada. He has focused on financial system policy issues at the Canadian central bank for over 17 years. Most recently, Nikil has been working to strengthen the cyber resilience of the Canadian financial system and the financial market infrastructures that support it. Nikil is dual-trained as a lawyer and an economist; he obtained his Juris Doctor in Law from the University of Toronto and his Masters in Economics from Queen’s University.
