Douglas Melville

Douglas is currently the Principal Ombudsman & Chief Executive – Channel Islands Financial Ombudsman and is a Director of the Ombudsman Association in the United Kingdom. He was previously the Canadian Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investments and from 2013-2017 was the Chair of the International Network of Financial Services Ombudsman Schemes. Doug has worked with the World Bank in a range of jurisdictions as a senior consultant in alternative dispute resolution and financial consumer protection.
